CDT celebration news

Celebration and final colloquium to be held for CDT in Targeted Therapeutics

On 3rd September we will be celebrating thesuccessful completion of the CDT in Targeted Therapeutics with its lastcolloquium at the University of Nottingham. It will be an opportunity for currentand former CDT staff, students, and alumni, as well as AstraZeneca scientistsand members of the CDT Advisory Board, to celebrate the many achievements ofthe CDT and its students since it was founded in 2005.

The CDT in Targeted Therapeutics was the first Centre forDoctoral Training to be established in direct collaboration with an industrypartner. Funded by AstraZeneca and the Engineering and Physical SciencesResearch Council (EPSRC), the CDT has so far trained 23 scientists between 2005and 2015, with the final 6 students due to graduate this year. 

The colloquium will include talks from DrVictoria Marlow (EPSRC), Dr Mark Purdie (AstraZeneca), and Professor BillDawson, chair of the CDT Advisory Board. To find out more about the CDT’ssuccess stories and research highlights please see here.
