Winning Biotech YES team head to US for the world’s richest and largest student start-up competition

Monica Mistry, Gudrun Fridgeirsdottir, Georgina Marsh, Rosa Catania and Claire Lewis attended the RBPC in Texas, Houston earlier this month showcasing their winning pitch to the RBPC committee. The audience included IP lawyers, finance experts and angel investors alike.

The team was also immersed in the competition, networking with judges, mentors and competitors as well as watching a variety of business pitches and understanding the whole Rice competition process.

The ECTODECTO team would very much like to thank the Biotech YES competition for this fantastic opportunity, particularly Tracey Hassal-Jones for her continued hard work and support organising these events.
