UKICRS Symposium 2015 held at University of Nottingham

On 16th and 17th April the UKICRS Symposium 2015 was held at the University of Nottingham, organised by the CDT’s Training-Director Dr Maria Marlow and School of Pharmacy student Laura Mason. The symposium was aimed at those working in the pharmaceutical sciences, offering a wide range of opportunities for both young and established scientists to present their latest research and network with others from academia and industry.

The event included a number of activities, including workshops, an industrial exposition, graduate network session, and a symposium dinner. Dr Francesca Greco (University of Reading) and Professor Ben Boyd (Monash University, Australia) delivered keynote lectures on the Friday.

CDT student Nichola Starr also gave a talk entitled “In vivo monitoring of compound permeation and age related effects in human stratum corneum.”
