Preparing the posters

Training week October 2015

The CDT welcomed Akosua, Alexander, Asya, Ben, Emanuele, Fabrizio, Jatin, Joseph, Rachael, Rebeca, Sadie, and Saja to get to know each other and for a week of intense science and soft skills training.

Six students each have started at Nottingham and UCL, respectively. Yesterday, students learned about targeted therapeutics and developed their skills in communication to the public. The aim of the session was to create a poster to explain how certain drugs work (Tolevamer,Caelyx/Doxil Opaxo).

The CDT would like to thank Amjad, Harry, Ruggero and Vasiliki for helping with the event. All pictures are courtesy of Amjad Abouselo.
