Training week Nottingham October 2017

Each year, our first year students meet for three dedicated training weeks which run in October, January and April. After the recent team event in London, the new cohort of students met for a week of science and soft skills training at the University of Nottingam. The first 3 days were dedicated to scientific lectures on targeted therapeutics, metabolism and absorption as well as the preparation of the PhD project generation event, how to give a good presentation and scientific rigour. The CDT team would like to thank Drs Giuseppe Mantovani, Ruman Rahman and Pavel Gershkovich for contributing to the training.
