Professor Herb Sewell steps down from Advisory Board

The entire Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) team would like to offer our sincere thanks to Professor Herb Sewell, who is stepping down as a member of the CDT Advisory Board, for his years of service and support.

Herb is a Professor of Immunology and has been an Honorary Consultant at the University of Nottingham and NUH for more than 22 years. He was also Pro Vice Chancellor for Research at the University from 2002-08 and a Clinical Director for Pathology at NUH from 2002-08/09. Nationally, he has served on many advisory and regulatory bodies covering health, science and business. He was a member of the governing body of the Medical Research Council from 2004-11 and has been chair and member of numerous committees for Medical Royal Colleges including the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathology.
