Nichola Starr publishes articles in UKICRS 2015 Newsletter

CDT student Nichola Starr has published an article entitled “Neglecting the Stratum Corneum: The Need for Analytical Advancements to Monitor Skin Permeation” in this year’s newsletter for the United Kingdom and Ireland Controlled Release Society.

Nichola argues that while “steps are being made towards the development of new analytical techniques to study permeation through this important tissue… these are still very recent and further advancement is needed in order to solidify their advantages over traditionally used methods and enable their widespread use.”

The full UKICRS newsletter can be read here with Nichola’s article available on page 41.
