Mary Kyobula Awarded the Top Prize for Outstanding Oral Presentation at the 10th Annual Pharm Dev PhD day in AstraZeneca.

After a competitive abstract submission process, Mary Kyobula was selected by a panel at AstraZeneca to give a talk and present a poster entitled “3D Printing of Controlled Release Structures” at the annual PharmDevPhD day which took place at AstraZeneca (Macclesfield) in March 2017. Sixteen other PhD students were selected to capture the broad range of innovative research projects sponsored by AstraZeneca.

It was so exciting for Mary to share the outcomes of her PhD research work with an audience of over 200, including experts from AstraZeneca, academics and PhD students from UK top leading universities.

The event was filled with a series of great presentations, delivered by the selected third and final year PhD students sponsored by AstraZeneca. Mary received the top prize of £150. Congratulations Mary!
