Maria Angelerou attended the Directed-Assembly Network Summer School in Cambridge

During the Directed-Assembly Network Summer School at the University of Cambridge , Maria had the opportunity to broaden her knowledge of self-assembly and presented her work on ‘Design of a novel device for the detection of narcotics’. Maria said that "It was a valuable experience where I met several students working in the same research field but also academics and people working in the industry. I had interesting discussions but at the same time I had fun. We had drinks at the pub where Watson and Crick announced that they discovered ‘’the secret of life’’ and watched Midnight’s Summers Dream in Queen’s College".
