"Come on in to our research labs" initiative

CDT students Georgina, Maria, Vasiliki and Rachael participated in two workshops entitled “Creating community” and “Sharing my bench space”. These workshops were carried out as part of a new initiative in the School of Pharmacy, “Come on in to our research labs”, which aims to create a community and build bridges between second-year MPharm students and postgraduate researchers in the School. Following the initial “Sharing my bench space” networking event, undergraduate students will be invited into the research labs in order to learn new techniques and experience the conduct of research in an academic environment.

The workshops are coordinated by Drs. Cristina De Matteis, Snow Stolnik and Beppe Mantovani and have received funding from friends and alumni of the University of Nottingham and HEFCE.
