CDT Training Week with the Graduate School

CDT students attended a training week at the University of Nottingham organised by the Graduate School’s  Parmjit Dhugga.The week also provided an excellent opportunity for networking as doctoral students from Horizon (Digital Economy CDT), Manufacturing Technology, Efficient Fossil Energy Technologies EngD Centre, Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing, and Sustainable Chemistry also attended the training.

Training courses covered topics such as “Writing a research impact statement,” “Professional business networking,” “Getting your work published,” “Preparing for business leadership,” “Report writing for business and industry,” and “Maximising the benefit of conference attendance.”

CDT students Andreea Iuras and Francesco Tres also gave presentations during the workshop “Overcoming the challenges when undertaking research in an external organisation.”
