Rita Trindade

CDT student, Rita competes in FameLab 2017

FameLab is an international communications competition designed to engage and entertain by breaking down science, technology and engineering concepts into three minute presentations.

Over 30 countries across Europe, Asia and Africa participate every year giving hundreds of scientists, mathematicians and engineers the chance to get involved with science communication.

Participants are judged by leading researchers, media personalities and science policy makers on the content, clarity and charisma of their presentation.

Rita was a finalist in this year’s FameLab Portugal earlier this month. Rita presented the talk "Amar pelos Dois" about the consequences of heartbreak. As a finalist she also attended a two-day communication Masterclass by Malcolm Love, ex-BBC producer and chief FameLab International trainer.
