Congratulations to the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) student Delyan Ivanov who was recently awarded the prestigious Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) postdoctoral prize for a two-year research fellowship in Cancer Biology at the University of Nottingham.

This competitive scheme, funded by the Engineering  and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and awarded by the University of Nottingham, aims to increase the impact of a recently completed PhD in terms of publications, knowledge transfer and outreach activities as a first step to an independent research career. Delyan completed his PhD, entitled “Direct delivery of nanoparticles to Brain tumours”, under the supervision of Martin Garnett, David Walker, Peter Wigmore, Terence Parker, and Paul Gellert in 2014.
