CDT student, Claire competes in FameLab 2017

FameLab invites scientists, mathematicians and engineers across the globe to take part in its flagship science communications competition. Contestants have just 3 minutes to convey a scientific concept of their choice. They are judged by leading researchers, media personalities and science policy makers on the content, clarity and charisma of their presentation.

CDT student Claire competed in this year’s competition at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield earlier this month as part of her keen interest in science communication. Claire competed against a number of other students from local universities, presenting to an audience of judges, science communicators and members of the public.
