CDT students making a presence in Japan at the Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS) 22nd International Conference

Akmal Bin Sabri (Final Year) and Anna Kotowska (Third Year) have been accepted to give an oral presentation at the 22nd International Conference on Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry. Anna will be presenting her research titled "Acquisition of primary structure information from proteins using 3D OrbiSIMS". Akmal will present his work titled "Elucidating targeted drug delivery strategies for skin cancers using ToF-SIMS imaging". Both presenters are recipient of the IUVSTA Grant to attend the SIMS Summer School in Japan prior to the conference. In addition, Akmal is this year's recipient of the UK Surface Analysis Forum (UKSAF) Travel Grant, which will fund his travel to Japan to attend the conference.
