CDT students to run activities at Science in the Park

For the fourth year running, CDT students will be taking part in Science in the Park, an outreach event taking place at Wollaton Hall on the 9th of March. Organised by the British Science Association, Science in the Park grants the opportunity for students to run their own outreach activities. This year the students will be demonstrating the importance of good lab technique through a “Potion brewing” activity as well as explaining how painkillers like ibuprofen and paracetamol work using hand crafted models. Alongside student led activities there will be other exhibits, demos and talks throughout the day. If you’re interested have a look at last year’s event.

If you would like to know more or be involved email Steven Gibney.
