Training week in Nottingham

The first of three training weeks was held in Nottingham as a mixture of workshops, lectures and peer-to-peer training. Scientific training focussed on advanced therapeutics, metabolism and absorption whilst students also discussed how to give a good presentation and scientific rigour. Dr William Small from Croda met the students to give an overview on the company Croda, one of the sponsors for the CDT. Older cohort of students led a Q&A session on the CDT programme and gave a tour of the research facilities at Nottingham.
