June CDT Management group meeting

The CDT Management group met on the 5th June to discuss key issues related to the CDT. Staff members from both the University of Nottingham and University College London were present along with representatives from industrial sponsors, including AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Croda and Quotient.

For the first time student representatives were also present at the meeting. The student representatives were Steven Gibney for UoN, filling in for Sadie Swainson and Catherine Vasey who were attending the UKICRS conference, and Karolina Dziemidowicz for UCL.

A number of topics were covered during the meeting. Student representatives relayed the latest achievements and student activities, staff provided updates on feedback received during the last advisory board meeting, and the calendar for the forthcoming academic year was reviewed.

The next Management group meeting is planned to take place on the 20th September 2018.
