Emanuela Cingolani publishes a paper in European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Congratulations to Dr Emanuela Cingolani who has published a paper entitled “Enhanced expression of Organic Cation Transporters in bronchial epithelial cell layers following insults associated with asthma – Impact on salbutamol transport” in the European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This paper was written from her PhD research, under the supervision of Dr Cynthia Bosquillon and Dr Snow Stolnik, at the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Advanced Therapeutics and Nanomedicines. Emanuela’s thesis was titled “Understanding the effect of particle characteristics on their fate in the lungs using in vitro models”. Emanuela works as a Senior Inhaled Formulation Scientist at GSK after she graduated with a PhD from the University of Nottingham in July 2017.
