Dr Eileen McBride hosts career sessions for researchers

The CDT was delighted to welcome Eileen to the University of Nottingham to host career sessions for postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers and undergraduate students. Her sessions provided an overview on the skill sets that AstraZeneca value in applicants who are interested in research and research-related jobs. Eileen discussed her own career and the expertise she needed for progression, along with the various career paths possible with AstraZeneca. Eileen also advised how to connect studies and research to advertised role profiles and included tips for applications and the interview process.

Dr Eileen McBride has more than 9 years’ experience working for AstraZeneca and is currently a team leader in pharmaceutical development.

Many thanks to Eileen for these very informative sessions and for taking the time to travel to Nottingham to meet our students and staff!
