2014 Cohort completes second training projects

The 2014 cohort have now finished their second training projects and will go to London for a week of training and networking. Our industry partners, AstraZeneca, MedImmune, GSK and Pfizer, offered in-house training projects to provide students with direct industry experience. We would like to thank all our partners for providing these invaluable opportunities.

Dr Alastair Coupe, Pfizer, commented that “Dania, Chris and Mel’s time at Pfizer is drawing to a close and today they gave short presentations to an invited audience – the session was really well attended which shows how well they have fitted in and become part of the fixtures and fittings in a very short period of time.  They have been great ambassadors for the CDT and I speak on behalf of the whole department when I say we have enjoyed having them in Sandwich.  Simply put – they did really great, all three of them! We are already looking forward to the next three in 2016.”
