EPSRC Centre in Targeted Therapeutics: Celebration Schedule

EPSRC Centre in Targeted Therapeutics: Celebration Schedule

Funded by AstraZeneca and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), this was the first Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) to be established in direct collaboration with an industry partner.

The schedule for the final colloquium for the EPSRC CDT in Targeted Therapeutics, which is to be held on 3rd September 2015, has been finalised. The day will be an opportunity for current and former CDT staff, students, and alumni, as well as AstraZeneca scientists and members of the CDT Advisory Board to celebrate the successful completion of the CDT and its many achievements in the past 10 years.

The colloquium will include talks from Dr Victoria Marlow (EPSRC), Dr Mark Purdie (AstraZeneca), and Professor Bill Dawson, chair of the CDT Advisory Board. A number of CDT alumni will also be giving short talks about their experiences within the CDT and careers since finishing their PhDs. There will also be a lunch with posters from current CDT students and the day will conclude with a celebratory reception.
